Antiquing Patina
250ml bottle. Antiquing Patina is a liquid concentrate used to produce decorative brown to black films on copper and its alloys. This antiquing patina works with bronze, brass, copper and the metal coatings. It ages and darkens the metal and since these oxide films have little corrosion resistance, protective clear lacquers (such as Jane Kits – Clear Shield) are commonly used as a subsequent finish.
Parts should be cleaned prior to treatment with Antiquing Patina, using Jane Kits Metex M activator. Copper and brass components are treated in Antiquing Patina for the time required, to produce the colour intensity required. Treatment time between 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

About Us
The Jane Kits story began when John, a vintage motorbike restorer realised that it would be much more convenient and economical if he was able to plate his own parts in the home workshop. So John decided to source and create his own plating kit and hence Jane Kits was born. John went on to receive numerous awards for his meticulously restored bikes with parts plated using his ingenious new kit.
