The Jane Kits story began when John, a vintage motorbike restorer realised that it would be much more convenient and economical if he was able to plate his own parts in the home workshop. So John decided to source and create his own plating kit and hence Jane Kits was born. John went on to receive numerous awards for his meticulously restored bikes with parts plated using his ingenious new kit.

What started out as a small business in the home garage next to a Matchless motorbike has turned into a popular plating supply business serving the Australian and New Zealand markets. With John deciding to take a back seat in 2011, his son in law Cain took over the reins of the business to continue his legacy.

Jane Kits have sold thousands of kits over the years with many of the original customers still loyal to the Jane Kits products. We have expanded to produce a range of kits that allow the handyman, restorer, factory owner or manufacturer to do his/her own plating in house. These amazing home plating kits, allow professional plating results to be obtained in your own workshop. To be able to plate your parts at home or as a part of your business is economical, convenient and time saving. The advantage is no sending parts out, no waiting and no lost parts.
